Why Freeing the Beehive State? From what does the Beehive State need to be freed? (And no, this is not an anti-Mormon site. Please read on.) Utahns whove even cursorily studied the history of their state, will relate the beehive symbol to industry and the pioneer virtues of thrift and perseverance. To Mormons themselves, the symbol expresses their religions virtue of industry and cooperative action. So why would we need to free ourselves? And whom do we need to free ourselves from? First, lets address why we need to free ourselves. Of the 50 states, Utah ranks 34th in population. Yet, our small 2.2 million industrious and cooperative community ranks as the number one user of prescription antidepressants in the nation, as well as having the 9th highest suicide rate. With such a small population, three fourths of whom are Latter-Day Saints, these numbers are alarming. Something is getting to us, Mormons and non-Mormons alike. But what? And who? Thus, my second question: whom do we need to free ourselves from? Consider this possibility What if there were evil forces in our society that wanted to destroy good things like family, freedom, and community? How would they go about their work? Would they publicly announce their evil agenda while marching down State Street blowing trumpets? Or would they be a bit subtler, moving slowly, silently, and discreetly? This website exists to pose the idea that evil forces do exist, and their goal is a subtle and crafty one: to alienate man from God by making him believe that he is no more special or gifted than animals. How might this be done? By convincing man he is not spiritual in nature, but is merely an animal, responding only to chemicals in his brain. These evil forces know that a man who is alienated from his God and a belief in his true nature will be easy to entreat into all kinds of vices. A man who has no hope or sense of belonging or responsibility will do nothing to resist evil. Today, psychiatry and psychology teach us that man is nothing but a composite of preprogrammed genes--ruled by a mixture of chemicals in his brain. They teach us these genes and chemicals are responsible for every feeling whether happy or sad, and every action whether normal or abnormal. By this philosophy, there is no good or evil--only genes and chemicals. If your chemicals are in balance and your genes are healthy, you are happy, well adjusted and not disposed to drinking, smoking, killing, or molesting little children. If those chemicals are not properly balanced in your brain and your father carried an unfortunate gene, you are predestined to be maladjusted, unhappy, and perhaps suicidal. Because there is no good or evil according to psychiatry, the individual really has no Free Will and therefore no personal responsibility for his actions. This philosophy therefore insinuates that all religious teachings are lies; based upon nothingness Because chemicals and genes rule man. The modern fields of psychiatry and psychology are perpetuating these philosophies, based on the theories of chemicals being the cause of all actions and reactions. These "mental health" practices advance evil throughout the world. With no proof to support their numerous, dubious theories, psychiatry has fed Utahns mind-altering and addictive drugs, shock treatment, and debilitating brain surgeries. Psychology has taught us that anything goes as long as it feels good and that telling right from wrong is just a matter of viewpoint. Psychiatry and psychology work arm-in-arm with secular humanists and atheists--the enemies of spirituality and religious belief in a higher power. The only way to resist these philosophies is to reject the false teachings of these modern false prophets. We must turn to God and take full responsibility for our actions. Only then can we create a better world for our children, our neighbors, and ourselves. Only then can we shed the shameful status of being the highest users of antidepressants in the nation. We hope this website will help to shed the light on the evil and brutal nature of modern psychiatry and psychology. We hope you will join the ranks of those who stand for truth and work for the freedom and betterment of all men. |
